Welcome to Celbridge Camera Club 2008 / 2009!

 

Our formal season starts in September and runs until June, at which point evening outings take over until the end of August. We hold an Annual Exhibition at the end of the season and organise regular internal photographic competitions. We also arrange competitions with other Clubs and are regular entrants in national Club competitions. The Club also organises regular photographic outings and has a lively social life. During the past few years, week end trips have been organised to The Saltee Islands, Aran Islands, Inishbofin, Cape Clear, Tory Island and The Burren.  The Club has also undertaken overseas outings to India, Iran, South Africa, Cuba and the UK. Most recently weekend outings have taken place to North Kerry, Donegal, Irelands Eye , Rathlin Island, West Cork, Prague, Paris and Scotland!

The Club is a member of the Irish Photograpic Federation (IPF) which, in turn, is affiliated to the Federation International de l'Art Photographique (FIAP). We are active participants in the Distinctions programmes of both organisations.

During the Summer we meet at Castletown Gates each Monday at 19.30 for a series of evening outings. (see Programme for details)
