At our last committee meeting, the committee decided that, given the current circumstances, the exhibition 2020 would go ahead as a Digital Only exhibition with the images displayed in a gallery on the club website.
The hand in night is still Monday April 27th.
Please note that each member can submit up to 2 images only. One colour image and one mono image.
Images should be named as follows (assuming your grade is intermediate and your number is 123):
I123_Colour_<your_title>.jpg
I123_Mono_<your_title>.jpg
A title is mandatory.
Remember that images should be sized to at least 2400 pixels on the longest side, and saved as high quality jpegs.
Images should be emailed to the usual email address: cccinternalcomp@gmail.com.
The cut off is midnight April 27th.
I will acknowledge all entries. If you do not get an acknowledgement from me by Wednesday April 29th, please feel free to contact me directly (087 7611660).
I plan to send the images to the judge on Thursday April 30th. Once I send the images to the judge I will not be able to take any more entries.
There will still be five prizes for the exhibition:
- Best Image in the Exhibition
- Best Mono Image in the Exhibition (this is usually Best Print, but for this year it will be best mono image)
- Best Advanced image
- Best Intermediate Image
- Best Novice Image
Please note: all images will be uploaded to the club website after the judge has delivered the results. I will resize all images to make sure that they are no longer than 2400 pixels on the longest side before uploading and will upload them as medium quality jpgs.
